- The dimension of the pyramids show that the Egyptians could measure distance and qualities with astonishing accuracy.
- They used the "Nilometer" which was a marked scale located at different point along the Nile, to calculate the river's height, and estimate the strength of it's annual flooding.
- The Egyptians used the "cubit" as their unit of measurement. The cubit was based on the length of a man's forearm' and would have been equal to 52.4 centimeter.
- they had dipstick that showed how much water had flowed out of the vessel and they knew how much time had passed.
- Egyptians had no coins to use as money , but they did use weights of copper to calculate the value of different goods.
- wages and taxes were usually paid in goods or produce such as barley, honey, linen or reed mats.
2)The math that was used in Ancient Egyptian time was really difficult and complicated. Now we use more numbers and letter and we have people explaining math to us and we've come to understand it more.
